Wed. Sept. 23.2009

Today we made bird feeders. We put peanut butter on a pinecone and then rolled it around in bird seed. We are excited to hang them up and watch the birds eat them. We will be on letter"C" Monday. You can bring something that starts with letter C for show and tell. Thanks for all of your support you give your children. Sorry no pictures from today I lost my charger for my camera.

Making Butter

We are talking about letter "B" this week. We had fun making butter. We put heavy whipping cream and a marble in a jar. Then we had to shake it most of the class time until it turned into butter. It was a lot of fun. We also had bananas for our snack.

Afternoon Spotlight was Riley. His favorite color is green. His favorite food is gogurt. He is a soccer player and he has a cat named Dotty. He loves to go camping, fishing, and play at the park. His nick name is Ry Guy.

Show and Tell

Today we had a special visitor come for show and tell. His name was Buttercup. D'Layne brought her horse today and gave everyone in her class a ride on her pony. Everyone had a good time and was really brave on the pony. We want to thank D'Layne, her Mom and Grandpa for giving us rides!! We had sooooo much fun!!!!

Morning Spotlight is Ellie. She loves Elmo, cookies, mac and cheese, and strawberries. Her favorite colors are pink and blue. She has a little brother, his name is Liam. she is the big sister.

We had fun singing our new songs, "If Your happy And You Know It" and "This Is The Way". Your children are doing really well in school. Everyone is starting to make new friends and having a lot of fun! Here are some pictures of us singing today.
